Discount tickets available until March 17
Six-on-six basketball will return to the Scranton Community Center (former school gym) Saturday, March 22.
A soup supper will be served from 5 to 7 pm, with a silent auction available.
The fun starts at 6 pm with the Town and Country Band serving as a pep band. At 6:30 the Scranton fire department will take on the Greene County Women for six-on-six hoops. Half-time will feature a court contest and the conclusion of the silent auction. Door prizes will be awarded as well.
A separate admission will be charged for each event, with the soup supper $5 for persons 13 years and older and $3 for students 6-12 years old, and the basketball game the same cost. Tickets will be available at the door.
Proceeds will go to Scranton betterment projects.
